Pocketbook Christmas Tales are produced and distributed each Holiday Season by the Lazzar-Atwood family of Bellingham, Washington. Written in light verse these quirky little stories are designed to add a little extra measure of joy and merriment to your annual Christmas celebration. Sometimes humorous, often heartwarming and always entertaining, these stories are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face and a light tickle to your funny bone without significantly depleting your Christmas budget. Made out of sturdy 4” X 5” cardstock, these little books are small enough to fit inside your pocket and cost only a fraction more than your average greeting card.

Interested parties can either purchase these stories individually or request to be placed on our annual subscriber’s list. As an annual subscriber your stories will be automatically mailed to you each holiday season during the first week of December. There is an order form included on this website for your convenience in placing your order. To help you decide and to give you an idea of the nature of these stories we have included some samples of our work. Pocketbook Christmas Tales are, by no means, a professional publication. There are no agents, publishers, editors, lawyers or any other professional people involved with these stories. They are simply a labor of love created and produced each year by a family that truly enjoys the Christmas holidays. It’s Christmas Time Again

Put your problems on probation
Run your troubles off the track,
Throw your worries out the window
Get the monkeys off your back.
Silence all your inner critics
With your conscience make amends,
And allow yourself some happiness
It’s Christmas time again!

Call a truce with those who bother you
Let all the fighting cease,
Give your differences a breather
And declare a time of peace,
Don’t let angry feelings taint
The precious time you have to spend,
And allow yourself some happiness
It’s Christmas time again!

Like some cool refreshing water
Or a gentle summer breeze,
Like a fresh bouquet of flowers
Or the smell of autumn leaves,
It’s a banquet for the spirit
Filled with family, food and friends,
So allow yourself some happiness
It’s Christmas time again!
